W̱SÁNEĆ COLLEGE NEWS UPDATE 2023 Camosun College We are so excited to be offering four Camosun programs at the SAEC this academic year. We started the year with roughly fifty students registered in our four on-site programs! We have our Academic Upgrading program for anyone interested in working on Math and/or English prerequisites
EARLY LEARNING AND CARE NEWS - by Rona Sylvester, Program Assistant Early learning and care is a 2-year diploma program. We have a cohort of 10 students who have been very busy doing their first aide and getting their portfolio’s ready for the childcare centres that they will be visiting. The
W̱SÁNEĆ College Post-Secondary Student Updates - By Aleena Lano, Student Connections Facilitator POST-SECONDARY PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES The Saanich Adult Education Centre is offering 4 post-secondary programs this year: Indigenous College Prep, Early Learning & Care, and Indigenous Community Wellness through Camosun – and the W̱, SENĆOŦEN IST Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous
W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Secondary School has been approved to participate in a youth exchange. Through this program, WLSS students will be able to see a part of the country that is completely different from their home, experience a variety of different foods and cultures and form lasting friendships with the students from a different community.
