Hours of Work: up to seven (7) hrs. per day based on a schedule to be determined in accordance with the operational needs of the W̱SÁNEĆ School Board.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- License to Practice in Early Childhood Education
- A valid First Aid Certificate
- Must be physically capable of performing a wide variety of physical tasks including walking, running, sitting, lifting, crouching, kneeling, and jumping for extended periods of time.
- Lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. may be required from time to time.
- Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments and in a variety of working conditions.
- All employees must be able to demonstrate appropriate modeling of active play activities, which include but not limited to:
- Organized sports such as soccer, hockey, tennis, tag, duck, duck goose and follow the leader.
- Valid Criminal Record Check
Preference will be given to First Nations Ancestry.
