To access funding for school supplies, tuition, and achievement awards, students and parents need to be aware of the following upcoming deadlines.

School supply funding: 

From notebooks to rulers, to pens and pencils, the cost of the necessary school supplies for an entire year can really add up – especially if you have more than one child!

The W̱SÁNEĆ School Board is pleased to provide funding to cover the costs of school supplies. All students registered with the W̱SÁNEĆ School Board are eligible to receive these funds. 

School supply funding applications are now open for the 2022/2023 school year!

Important: Applications received before August 15th will be processed on August 19th and cheques will be available for pickup after 1 pm at the Admin Office. 

Applications received after August 15th will have payments available on Aug 26th.

Applications received up to Noon on Mondays will be processed for payment on Friday (direct deposit or cheque pick-up).

Note:  Cut off is at NOON

Cheque Pick-Up is available at 1pm

School tuition funding:

The W̱SÁNEĆ School Board is pleased to provide funding to cover the costs of school tuition for W̱SÁNEĆ students who reside on one of the four W̱SÁNEĆ Nations (Tsawout, Pauquachin, Tseycum or Tsartlip), whether your child is attending a W̱SÁNEĆ school, School District 63 school, or private school.

In order to ensure tuition funding goes to the right school, please make sure your child is enrolled in the school they will be attending for the 2022/2023 school year. 

You have until September 29th to contact us and change the school your child is registered at. Changes made after this date will mean you will not receive the funding for your child’s tuition.

Direct Deposit

We encourage all parties to sign up for direct deposit, to avoid needing to pick up and manually deposit cheques, instead you can receive funds automatically into your bank account.

School Closure Dates
