GYM RENTAL REQUEST

The WSÁNEĆ School Board Gymnasium can be rented for various sporting events. We expect the users to respect the facilities and WSB will use the proceeds of the community use for management and maintenance of the facilities.

You must read the below Gym Procedures and Regulations and view the Rental Fees.

Third Party Liability Insurance

The W̱SÁNEĆ School Board requires all FACILITY RENTERS to provide 3rd Party Liability Insurance. Please go to: eventpolicy.ca and type in W̱SÁNEĆ School Board to access insurance for your event(s}, as per the following:

“In booking the facility, the Renter agrees to indemnify the W̱SÁNEĆ School Board against any and all claims, actions or demands that may be brought, made or arise in respect of anything done or omitted to be done by the Renter pursuant to facility rental or resulting from the use of the Facility, save and except to the extent that such claims, actions or demands arise from or relate to the negligence, wrongful act or omission of the W̱SÁNEĆSchool Board, or any of its Administration or staff. The Renter is responsible for the wellbeing of all parties in attendance during their rental time, as well as their actions while on W̱SÁNEĆ  School Board property.”

Gym Procedures and Regulations

  • Rental Request must be signed by the renter responsible for the activity/event.

  • Equipment is rented separately.

  • Furniture/Equipment Rental Deposit of $100 is due one working day prior to rental.
    * Deposit is returned upon inspection of WSB Staff, the next business day

  • Tables/Chairs rental: Renter is responsible for pick up and return. There is a service charge for late return. WSB is not responsible for set-up of tables and chairs

  • A damage/clean-up/security deposit of $100 is required
    * Deposit is returned upon inspection of WSB Staff, the next business day

  • No rental is booked if rental fees are owing from previous use.

  • Floor covering is mandatory for any events where food is being served in the gym.

  • Renter is responsible for obtaining own liability insurance (information will be emailed after booking request is made).

  • Renter is responsible for cleaning. If staff cleaning is necessary afterwards, the cost will be deducted from Damage/Clean Up/Security Deposit.

  • No drugs or alcohol are allowed on WSB grounds. WSB is a non-smoking site.

  • Occupancy codes must be followed.

  • Order of priority: LTS, WLSS, SAEC, Community Groups, Employees, Other

  • Unauthorized use at own risk.
